Freeze Dried Chicken Cat Treats, Cat Grass Added,Hairball Care & Digestive Support, 3.8oz

My cat is incredibly fussy and often turns his nose up at new treats. When I first offered him one of these he was hesitant. But I had a feeling he’d like the smell of pure chicken, so I broke a piece in half. That did the trick! He cautiously took a bite and then immediately wanted more. Now, I interchange these with his regular treats, and he gets just as excited every single time. It’s a relief to have another healthy option he actually enjoys.As a pet parent, what really gives me peace of mind are the simple, purposeful ingredients. Knowing it's mainly chicken with added cat grass for hairballs, a prebiotic for his digestion, and Vitamin E makes me feel good about giving him these snacks. It’s not just a treat; it feels like a little boost for his overall well-being.For anyone with a selective cat, don’t give up if there’s an initial hesitation—try breaking it up! I’m so glad I found these. Also to note I personally don’t like the smell but my cat does, the size of the pellets are a bit large but breaking them in half makes it work and by doing so the amount you get for the price is worth it.

We only rated three (3) out of five (5) stars because our cats would not eat these. They may be good but our cats showed interest (sniffed and licked the treat) but swiped the treats with their paws and walked off. The treats look like cut up freeze dried green beans to me. I was going to taste one because it looked more like a green bean than cat grass but the label stated it wasn’t to be consumed by humans. So I did not do it and don’t recommend doing it. The main or first ingredient is chicken and there are no grains and gluten in the cat grass treats. The label states that they are 50% crude protein

It took me a while to write this review, I really wanted to make sure I tried enough with my cat offering this treat. I really wanted to add in her diet more grass, as being an indoor cat. The first time she tried it, she ate some of it. The second time I split it in half (each piece is too big in size)...she ate it but took her time, not convinced. All the other times she left it untouched.The ingredients list places grass only at the 4th place, which is in discordance with the front label of the product (see photo). The nutritional value of this treats is ok as snacks, and there are a lot of servings. The smell is not appealing to my cat (my dogs ate it with no problems). The grass provided gives fibers but it is not equivalent to cat grass for hairball treatment.All of these points unfortunately led me to not consider this to be of good quality or a good value for money, and somehow a misleading label which brought me to think at the beginning that was a cat grass replacement.

My cat goes crazy for these freeze dried cat grass treats! Ingredients seem very clean with no crazy fillers. Extra protein from chicken, chicken hearts and livers is a bonus🙂

When I first received these (about a week ago) I gave one treat to each of my 6 cats, at their normal “treat time” in the evening. They all gobbled them up, but I stopped at just one. By the next day I noticed their litter boxes were a little extra smelly! That evening I placed one treat in front of each cat; 2 of them turned up their noses, and as a result the orange kitty shown in the video got 2 extra treats. Again, the litter boxes were a little extra smelly the next day. During the following days I offered treats only to the cats who like them. Their bodies have adjusted, I think. There is more waste than before, but it’s not as smelly as when they first started. The treats are a little large, and one of the kitties that enjoys the treat has to fiddle with it before he can get it in his mouth. We haven’t had any hairball incidents, but we usually go months with no activity. I brush them a lot, which helps also. So our new routine is to do these treats in the morning (as a separate treat, only to those who enjoy them), then their normal treats (which they all enjoy) in the evening. The cats would probably give these an average of 4 stars; two cats turned up their noses, but the other four absolutely love them. I like that I’m giving them a “treat” that is good for them, I only wish they all liked them.
