My dog absolutely loved the chicken jerky. He devoured these treats in no time. You could tell he thought they were delicious and gets so excited when he gets one. I love that they came double sealed to make sure they were fresh. The jerky came in big slices and I was pleasantly surprised at how much came in the container. Very satisfied owner and dog. Our dog loves these chicken jerky treats. They help us train her to stay in her bed when we're eating, and to not beg us for food during dinner or other meals.Our dog usually eats a lot of duck jerky from Costco, which I think is around $15, but you get a ton of duck jerky compared to this product. Better value, but we appreciate this product too.The added taurine could possibly be good for cats , or domestic foxes, or dogs with DCM heart conditions. You probably want to check with your vet though if your pet needs extra taurine in their diet.
I ordered these PAWUP Chicken Jerky Dog Treats for our 80 pound Labrador Retriever, Olive. She gets fed twice a day but seems hungry all the time so I want to have treats on hand to give her throughout the day. I usually only give her one of these PAWUP Chicken Jerky Dog Treats once per day and she loves them! I really appreciate that these aregrain free, and have a limited number of ingredients so that we don't have to worry about allergies. These treats contain taurine. Taurine is known to be a dietary requirement for cats and may be for some dog breeds as well. Taurine is a necessary amino acid for cats but not enough is known about it's role in nutrition for dogs.According to Petmd, what we do know is that taurine deficiency"is one cause of a heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy, where the heart muscle thins and the chambers become enlarged. This is true for cats, and may now also be true for dogs." If there's any possibility of saving our dogs from this condition, it's well worth feeding them this supplement!If you have a dog who loves their treats, this is a good option!Highly Recommended!
